Dear Elizabeth,
I hesitate to write this, as I know you will be unduly upset, as would anyone. I have been injured, not too badly, but I felt I must take riding lessons. I must be ready to go off on my quest with the mysterious horseman. I fear I have no aptitude whatsoever for the equestrian life, as at the first lesson I fell off the horse and broke my arm. You may notice a difference in my hand writing. Please don't take this as an answer to your gypsy, I take no stock in such things.
I don't know what to do, he is still waiting for me, everytime I let my guard down, there he is. I must follow.....He has revealed to me that there is great reward at the end of our journey and I will know the reason for my being. I just wish you could join me and we could face the unknown together....
