I was so distracted this morning that I forgot to put my phone and my camera into my purse! Thank goodness some of the gals have camera phones and were able to take pictures.

As it turns out they had all seen my posts here. I was convinced that they didn’t read this blog so I guess the joke is on me. Of course there is one little birdy in hot water because she sent them an email telling them to come check out the blog.

As we arrived at the buffet I didn’t see any mystery bags so I thought they had decided against a crown but that was not to be. The Queen of Handbags reached into her’s and pulled out a purple crown. It’s a stylish foam number with just the right amount of bling.

After I got my crown I reached for a bag I had brought along…. I announced that I had a party in my bag and I proceeded to pull out goody bags and “party hats” for the entire crowd. You see, fearing the worse with the crown I developed a counter strategy of having all of us walk around in silly hats! To my great surprise they all put smiles on their faces and hats on their heads and shared the love with me. These girls are the very best!

We had a wonderful day! After lots of good food and laughter we headed out for an afternoon of shopping and more laughter.
