Love it Chia,
I like the colors. It doesn’t need to be bright to be beautiful. It’s great to stretch beyond the comfort zone. I’m deliriously happy to know women who have amazing creativity & individual style.
Have you played with Photoshop in the layers palette ? Playing with the opacity of the layers? Adding shadows and effects? That may be helpful in gaining some virtual practice. Also have you thought about using bees wax to layer? Wow, now you’ve got me & my muse thinking….
Fabulous work Chia!
Love,

LOL, don’t laugh but I am a PSP (Paint Shop Pro) user and I’m still using my old copy of version 5! I think they are up to 15 now. I’ve been debating lately if I want to upgrade to the newer PSP or to invest in Photoshop. I’m dragging my heels because either one means leaving a comfort zone. But to answer your question.. I’ve done a little with layers in PSP but nothing quite as experimental as you suggested. Funny I never thought of that as I often use PSP to make mock ups of my ideas in order to get the layout and colors right before I start working with the papers.

Speaking of PSP.. have you seen the photo I made of Chris and the marble bag?
