I made this during my play day with friends. Looking through the Texture Effects book we saw some Bargello Inspired projects. My friend Billie took to this like a fish takes to water. I wasn’t as good at it. My first attempts were so clumsy that I won’t even bother posting them here. Finally I decided to look at what Billie was doing and try to do something similar. This is my Billie inspired piece posted here.
We were using Adirondack inks on glossy cardstock after it had been stamped with Versamark ink. Then the card was cut into strips and glued down on a piece of black cardstock.
I’m happy with this piece but I think I’ll leave the Bargello style to Billie and keep experimenting with other things for myself.
