Once again I was playing with a technique from “Texture Effects” by Nancy Curry. The smaller photo is the sample provided in the book for “Circular Motion”. Normally I wouldn’t worry much about using a similar stamp or colors but this time I decided to try and stay as close to the original design as I could. I didn’t have a spiral stamp so I carved one to use with this project. I used Versamark to stamp the images onto glossy cardstock and then colored them with dye inks. I used an assortment of Nick Bantock and Adirondack colors. Then I overstamped with some of the same colors and finished off with more Versamark and embossing powder. On the first one I also stamped some smaller spirals with gold Brilliance ink.
