My daughter has decided that all work and no play is not a good thing. As an escape from working on her dissertation she has taken out the sewing machine and started making purses for herself and her friends. They went over so well that she has decided to open a shop at Etsy. In addition to the purse she has a cute baby blanket that zips up and turns into a tote bag. It’s been a long time since I did any sewing. I wonder if I would still enjoy it.

Cute purse! I only sew if I can do zigzag or straight stitching — on my projects! Otherwise, it has been years since I did any sewing.
