Today is my birthday and I am turning 50. So far this has been an absolutely wonderful birthday. My friends and family have been celebrating with me for about a week now. I’ve been out to lunch with girlfriends twice and once with my son. My dear Recliner Man has been hard at work taking care of the top item on the “Honey Do” list. And gifts! My goodness, lunch and companionship were more than enough but the girls have been treating me to a wonderful assortment of goodies. Marla produced a bag full of treasures; everything from microscope slide folders to plastic storage containers for organizing small items like beads. Chris gave me a beautiful box to keep my treasures in. And Billie made me a one of a kind necklace! I feel like the proverbial kid in the candy store.
Thank you, Dear Ones. The lunches and gifts have been wonderful but above all I treasure your friendship and love.
Who knew growing older could be such a pleasure?
Also, Happy Birthday to my big sis who had the great fortune to get me as a gift on her second birthday!

The day just kept getting better. The mail brought a collection of cards and a great set of Birthday stamps from Arlynne. Recliner Man took me to Macaroni Grill for dinner.
Turning 50 has been great.. I can hardly wait for 51!
