For the September issue of Scrapbooking.com I was asked to make a project “to celebrate Grandparents.” My grandpa, Archie, came to mind and I made a little memory box with two of his photos and his favorite saying. You may remember Archie, I’ve written about him before.

Somehow this ended up in an article titled, “Gifts for Grandparents”. It might be a little odd giving a grandparent their own little ’shrine’ but the basic structure could work as a gift for just about anyone. For grandparents you might place a picture of their grandchildren inside and something to remind them of time spent with the grandkids on the front of the box.
This box would also be a nice container for a small gift. It’s actually pretty sturdy and a nice size; just a bit smaller than a deck of cards.

Also in the September issue are the directions for a small gatefold album that I made. This would also make a great gift item. I gave the one I made to my friend’s granddaughter for all of her school memories.
I'm Chia Wald and this is my blog. Here is where I share my thoughts and my art. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn't. That's life... and that's me.
Stumble it!
