These are some of my husband’s aunts.

These are a couple more of them. Five of the women are his mother’s sisters and one is a sister-in-law. Together they make the closest, most loving set of sisters I have ever known. They are all kind, loving and giving. They opened their hearts to me and welcomed me into their family. From my point of view that is something huge and something that I am deeply grateful for.

It is amazing how often these ladies drift through my thoughts. What is less amazing is how my mood is lifted each time I think of them. They are definitely one of my  little big joys! Alice, Ruth, Betty, Dorothy, Josephine and Peggy, Thank You. I love you all.
