Healing Power of Color

September 8th, 2007 · 2 Comments

color.jpg Yesterday was a good day. Chris and I drove up to Xpedx we did a little shopping and a little schmoozing. After we left Xpedx we went to lunch at a little Mexican place just down the street. Chris, help me out.. I’ve forgotten the name already.

When I got home I went back to work on my projects. This time, perhaps because I was rebelling from the pink project, I used just about every color I could get my hands on. I was having a blast. My son says it looks kind of “trippy”. I’m hoping it conveys energy and happiness.

I’m hoping it will be accepted for publication so I can’t show you any more of it right now. If it doesn’t make it into the magazine I might put it on the blog as a tutorial. I haven’t made up my mind if I’m going to bother putting more tutorials here or not. They haven’t generated much comment so I’m not sure if they are wanted.

I’ve got one more journal project to work on and then I’ll be shifting my attention to ATCs again. I have two swaps coming up next week. One is a small group of friends and the other is the monthly swap at Mystic Paper. This month’s theme is “School Daze”. I’ve had an idea in mind for weeks but I haven’t gotten started on them yet. I’m hoping I can’t bring the idea to life without needing to come up with something new at the last minute. What’s everyone else working on this week?

Thanks Chris. It’s not hard to understand why it is your favorite. The food was great!
