To all the doubters, Neener, neener! To all the supporters, Thank you, thank you! I actually did make something with my new beads. I made this necklace on Saturday night and replaced my “about me” photo with one that showed me wearing it. Sharp eyed Chris noticed the photo change but didn’t quite catch on to the necklace. I can’t really blame her. Me finishing the necklace so soon was definitely not something to be expected or on the look out for.

Now I just have to get into the habit of wearing necklaces. I also have this really cool one that my daughter gave to me. She bought it from Anti Genre. This is the same artist she bought my birthday earrings from. Anti Genre has some really cool jewelry. Rush over there and take a look. I should warn you though… it might be hard to keep from buying anything. So hard that you may as well resign yourself to the fact that you really do need one of her items and just have your credit card handy when you head over to see her stuff. (By the way, I stole that photo from her site, she photographed it better than I could.)

And now for the big news about who won the contest. Everyone did! Wendy, Shannon, Judy and Chris will all be getting some new beads! Trish, are you sure you already have enough? I heard once that you can never have enough beads. Thanks for commenting, guys. I really, really love the feedback.
