Remember this from September 8th? I told you I couldn’t show the entire piece because I was submitting it for publication but I was anxious to share it because I was on a color high after making it.At long last your wait is over. Well, OK, maybe it was just Jo’s long wait. I know she was curious to see what I had made. So for you Jo, here is the Wise Woman Book. It has been published in the new issue of Scrapbooking.com.

You can click on the images to see a larger view. This is an accordion book that I made to honor some of the women who have helped to shape who I am. On each page there is a flap with an image of a goddess on it. When you lift the flap you see the face of the special woman and there is some journaling about what they have meant in my life. The magazine article gives step by step photos and instructions.

Also in this month’s issue of Scrapbooking.com are the instructions for this Flag Book that I made. Or is that a Crossover Book, or a Criss Cross Book? My head is still spinning a little from all the names changes. While you are looking at the issue check out the article about Breast Cancer Awareness cards. I have three simple cards in there that you can make to tell someone you are thinking of them.

This is fantastic and what a great way to execute the theme. Wonderful job! I was anxiously waiting too.
