All day yesterday I thought it was Thursday. I was rushing around trying to get some projects done because I was expecting company on Friday and it seemed I had more to do that I had time left to do it in. Then my son came home from work and informed me it was Wednesday. This was made even harder to accept because when I checked the calendar on my watch it said it was Tuesday! Finally I believed him when I checked my cell phone and it was saying Wednesday.

Whew, a whole extra day to get ready. That means I can slow down a bit and give myself some play time in the studio. This was really cool… till I realized my friends were coming on Thursday, not Friday like I had been thinking.

I blame this whole disaster on the Star Book. I told you my head was spinning after all those name changes, right? Well, it must still be spinning!

I got up early to get the last of my chores done before company arrived only to run into yet another glitch. My kitchen flooded. I was doing dishes and suddenly I looked down and found myself wading in a lake. This was not good. I was up against a schedule and now I had to pull everything out of the cabinet and mop up the water. (hmm.. a week ago I had a dream about my kitchen flooding.)

Things are cleaned up now and I’ve figured out that the water shoots out of the garbage disposal when you run it or when the dishwasher drains though it. I figure I’ve done my part of the job, I’ll let Recliner Man handle the repair or replacement when he gets home tonight. Now I just have to figure out how I can turn a broken kitchen into dinner out.
