I had big plans for today. I was going to run errands, do lots of housework and have a nice hot meal waiting for my darling husband when he comes home from work this evening. I blame it all on having my head in the 50’s the past few days.

What I did was shuffle around the house in my pajamas till noon and then spend the afternoon working on my Fabulous Fifties cards for the swap at Mystic Paper. I settled on five different designs that I will offer for trade. I had lots of fun making these and I am anxious to show them to you. The problem is that I also like to keep them a surprise till it is swap time. What’s a girl to do? I think I found a way to have my cake and eat it too - I’ve taken 1/5 of each card and spliced them together just to give you a little sample of what’s to come.

There is still a bit of time left before Recliner Man comes home so I think I’ll go see if I can get a little of that housework done before he gets here. Should I try to figure out dinner or suggest eating out?
