Meet Mr. Bear. He is the guardian and official greeter at the House of Stirfry. He was born in Washington about 12 years ago and has made his home with us ever since. Washington was gloomy and overcast most of the time and that suited Mr. Bear quite well. All the sun and heat in Arizona dries out Mr. Bear’s skin and bothers his eyes. An occasional bath with the garden hose takes care of his skin and for his eyes Mr. Bear requested a pair of really cool shades.
Isn’t he the coolest bear that you’ve ever seen on an Arizona doorstep? He wears his cool shades all summer long, which around here means most of the year. During the Christmas Season he rocks out in a Santa hat. For all these years he has been happy with his wardrobe, but now things have changed. Mr. Bear and Recliner Man had a little talk and they decided that Mr. Bear needed a Halloween costume.
They settled on a ghost costume. Being the head costume maker here I was really glad that they chose something simple. The only problem was that Mr. Bear wasn’t quite satisfied. Something was missing…
Ah, that’s better! Now he’s a cool Arizona ghost. Rock on, Mr. Bear. Rock on.

Love it! And I also wanted to congratulate you on your site being mentioned in Stampington Inspirations - I picked it up last week and finally found a few minutes to leaf through it last night.

Thanks Trish. It still floors me when I see how many people know about and visit my site. Who knew my little hobby would touch so many?
Didn’t they do a great job with the doll template? I was really impressed.
