Fabulous Fifties

Downtown Mesa was the place to be last night. There was a constant parade of old cars in the street and people on the sidewalk. Safely tucked inside, away from all the exhaust fumes, was the Mystic Paper Live ATC Swap.

These are the five cards that I made for the swap. I let people pick which one they wanted. The most popular were Elizabeth Taylor and Hollywood. My favorite is the ‘I Like Ike’ one.

One more lurking blog visitor has come out of the woodwork. Last night Carol told me she stops by to see what is new. I made a comment about how visiting the blog allows her seeing just how crazy I really am. Should I be concerned that she didn’t tell me I was wrong about that? Hi Carol!

Below are all the cards I received last night. I love how so many of them used old photos and included images of themselves or family members on their cards. Thanks to Carol Entenman, J. Wood, Julie Baier, Charlotte Fern, Jennifer, Billie Hall, Meri Wiley, and Sharon for the trade!

And so ends another great swap at Mystic Paper. The theme for the December swap is “Red”. I’ll be there, will you?
