Wow, I’ve been really lazy about posting, haven’t I? Actually I’ve been kind of busy getting ready for a house painter to come. We had to trim back a lot of plants and move a few things. The painter is suppose to show up today to get started with a pressure wash. Hopefully in a few days I’ll be sharing before and after photos. There won’t be a dramatic change, we are going from brown to brown. We tried to change to a sage green but the Association’s Architecture Review Committee informed us that only “earth tones” are allowed and green isn’t an earth tone. I think I’ve already whined about that though. I’ve been a broken record about it ever since we got the rejection letter.

I was sitting here surfing the web and thinking that I really need to do something creative today. One of the sites I landed on had the words, “Vintage Christmas” on it. I immediately thought of a circular book I saw at the stamp convention and my plan was set. My challenge to myself is to try and recreate that style of book and make one in a Vintage Christmas Theme. Tomorrow’s post will show you how far I’ve gotten with that idea. Feel free to join me and make something “Vintage Christmas” of your own.
