It seems my Clementines have more fans than I do! For all you Clem lovers I thought I’d share a photo I took today. It’s been just over a week since I took the last photo of the Clementines and look how much more orange they are. Tomorrow we will try one and see if they are as ready as they look.

Today we put up the Christmas lights. I told Recliner Man that I’d promised a more exciting post and that it might be really cool if he would fall off the ladder. He just ignored me. No falling here.

He really hates it when I take his picture and post it on the blog. That just makes me want to take more pictures. Heh, heh. Look! The neighbor is putting up lights too. Maybe he will fall…

Notice how there is one house, one roof, one man, and TWO ladders? Recliner Man dragged out two ladders for his project too. What is it about men and ladders? Was this some kind of tool face off? Were they pulling out all the ladders to show off who had the most tools? Was there some excitement here that I just don’t get? Maybe I should go get my step stool and park it at the end of the driveway just to show them I can get some height too. Nah, I’d rather try bumping the ladder and getting the perfect action shot of Recliner Man.

Well, that photo is about as dull as they come. He still hasn’t fallen. Who does he think he is, Spider Man? If he keeps this up I’m going to stop taking pictures of him. Oh wait, that’s what he wants, isn’t it?
I haven’t done any Christmas shopping yet. Have you? I haven’t even figured out what to shop for. I swear this shopping thing gets harder and harder each year. I think we all have too much stuff and just don’t need anything more. I won’t let that stop me. I’m a trooper and I’ll get out there and wear the numbers of my credit card. It’s my duty as an American, isn’t it? And when I am done with the shopping I might even start to work on my Christmas cards. Man, am I going the last minute route or what? How many of you are ready for Christmas?

rofl. Who needs falling-pics with a narrative like that? Entertaining as-is. Christmas? My, no. First we’ve got Chanukah and in the middle of it my bff’s wedding (finally! she’s only been dating the guy 14 years), so Christmas plans will have to wait till after the 14th or so!

Tomorrow is power shopping day for me. Going to get gift certificates for the people on my list. My sons get checks. Christmas letters are done and, I hope, will be in the mail by the 1st. Now, on to the parties and get-togethers!

It’s refreshing to hear that I am not the only one with Christmas things yet to do.
Judy, I love that you do a “Christmas Letter!” I am a big fan of them. In today’s spread out world they are almost as good as a long conversation with loved ones over hot chocolate.
Lynne Anne, Wow, 14 years. Are they really, really sure about this? LOL Best of luck to them!
