I’ve had a herd of cows grazing in my Christmas Tree for several years. I bought one from a Girl Scout troop that made and sold ornaments to finance trips. I made the rest of my herd myself because I wanted to save enough money that maybe one day I could take a trip.
My Friend, Billie, loves cows. I mean she LOVES cows. She has quite a large collection of the critters displayed in her kitchen and her face just lights up when she tells the story of riding on a cow as a young girl.

I decided to make Billie her own herd of cows. Recliner Man helped me out by cutting all the mini clothespins for me. Isn’t he a sweetie? Then I set to work gluing and painting.

Uh-oh! This one looks like she has been in the wacky weed, or maybe she has Mad Cow Disease. Better keep an eye on her!
Actually I was thinking about how there is usually “one in every crowd” who wants to be different so I thought Billies heard should also have “one of those”. All the other cows look like they are quite content and come equipped with the standard pink udders and cow bells. This silly bovine has a purple udder and wears a lot of bling around her neck. Foolish me forgot to take a picture when they were all done. I’ll try to remember to take one the next time I am at Billie’s house so that I can share it with you.
I'm Chia Wald and this is my blog. Here is where I share my thoughts and my art. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn't. That's life... and that's me.
Stumble it!

Love the wonky eye one. Next year you need to make Billie 8 Maids to be A Milkin!
