I decided to watercolor my Christmas Cards this year. My table was a mess from several previous projects and I once again found myself working in a little 12″ x 12″ space. This didn’t allow much room for spreading out wet cards to dry. Luckily I remembered where I put my cool Thing-a-ma-jigs. I bought my Thing-a-ma-jigs at an office supply store many years ago. Back in the days when office supply stores were really fun to poke around in. Back in the days before the big box stores came along.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you about these because they are perfect when you are doing several cards and have to wait for glue, ink or paint to dry. (You can also tape a slinky to the table top but that’s not what this post is about.)
I really wanted to find a link online so you could order your own Thing-a-ma-jigs but that was kind of hard to do since I didn’t know what they are really called. I stuck with it and used all my Google skills because I knew all both of you were counting on me… or would be if you even knew I was looking. It paid off because I found Safina Office Products in Houston Texas. They have the Thing-a-ma-jigs Desktop Wire Letter Sorters for a fantastic price of $2.50! They also have Tally Counters and Tabletop Bells, neither of which I have a use for but I use to think they were totally cool when I was a kid!

I'm Chia Wald and this is my blog. Here is where I share my thoughts and my art. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn't. That's life... and that's me.
Stumble it!
