We were headed over to the PageSage booth. PageSage makes lots of really great instructional DVDs featuring some of the the biggest and brightest names in the craft world. I think their booth is so cool… they have a little movie theater set up where you can watch their DVDs. They even have a popcorn machine cooking up a fresh snack for you to enjoy. On this visit I noticed they had something else even more exciting. Can it be? Is that who I think it is in the back corner? It is! It is my idol, MaryJo McGraw!
I have been a big fan of MaryJo’s since the first time I met her. I was lucky enough to be taking a class from her. This woman is a walking encyclopedia of art techniques and supplies. I learned so much in that class and will forever be inspired by her.

Good Golly, this day just kept getting better and better. That is Jane Beard standing with MaryJo. Jane is one of the original wonders of the stamping world. She was one half of the original Museum of Modern Rubber, a truly wonderful stamp company. Back when I started stamping there weren’t many stamp stores to be found so most of us relied on catalogs. I treasured my MOMR catalog more than most and ended up purchasing almost all of the stamps in it. I’m still using many of them today.
MaryJo was just as friendly as always. Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to visit with Jane but at least she posed for this picture with MaryJo. That’s enough to put a big smile on my face.
I'm Chia Wald and this is my blog. Here is where I share my thoughts and my art. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn't. That's life... and that's me.
Stumble it!

I’m glad you’re spreading the photos over a number of days, Chia. It’s fun to get an inside peek at CHA.
