Make & Takes

These are some of the Make & Takes that I made at CHA.

The ATC came from the Far Flung Craft booth. Their banner said, “Sophisticated Cultural Designs for Paper Crafters.” This was the first booth we stopped at on our second day and it was a great way to get things rolling. It was a fun little card and the girls were all smiles.

I made the cool travel mug at Ten Seconds Studio. This was loads of fun. They had a great assortment of texture plates that we used to emboss a sheet of metal. Then we rubbed it all with a sanding block to make the design pop. Quick, fun, and beautiful!

Check out the cool dolls displayed in the Ten Seconds Studio booth.

7gypsies is another booth we never want to miss. They have some of the most wonderful supplies and their Make & Takes are always keepers.

This is Arlynne and Fifi getting down to work at the 7gypsies booth.

This year’s project was a cute little photo folder (Imagine a photo slipped into the pocket on the right) with a journaling card.

This photo album was the Make & Take from HP. This is the coolest album I’ve seen in a long time.

The spine is like a binder clip.

To insert pages you just bend the covers back and squeeze. How cool is that? It came with a CD to help you lay out pages with your photos and several sheets of photo paper to print them on.
I'm Chia Wald and this is my blog. Here is where I share my thoughts and my art. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn't. That's life... and that's me.
Stumble it!

And you did all this in a weekend? How many energy drinks did you have to consume?
The photos and descriptions are almost as good as being there.

Wendy, you said “all this” but we only scratched the surface. There were large areas of the show that we didn’t even get to walk down! This show is HUGE!
We would get up and eat a quick breakfast in our room (we brought muffins, fruit, etc) and then get over to the show just after 10am. We would eat lunch there and see as much as we could before they locked up at 5:30pm. Then we would go back to the room and tell each other about all we had seen since we split up a few times. Then we headed off in search of dinner before coming back to visit a bit more, catch some sleep and start the process over again in the morning. Two days wasn’t bad but if we had been doing 3 I think my tail would have been dragging. Oh, and I drove 6 hours there and back. Pretty good energy level for an old fat lady, eh?
