This lovely lady is  Sheryl Eggleston, author of “Ink, Stamp & Stitch“.

Sheryl was busy  in the Stewart Superior booth doing a demo with their Palette Metallics.

She was stamping on silk. How beautiful is that? I’ve already got my ink pads on order and now I need to get my hands on some silk. I have visions of altered books, table runners, maybe even an art doll. The picture doesn’t do these justice, they are absolutely stunning in person. The Palette inks are a fast drying permanent ink that can be used on almost any surface. Until I get some silk to work with I think I’ll be adding some shimmer and shine to my cards with these inks.

Ooh, stamped fabric would make for unique sewing projects. :)

Wow, that really is gorgeous. You know, I think I have a few of those pads buried in a box somewhere - may have to pull ‘em out and play. I’ve purchased silk scarves from Dharma Trading Co - their prices are very reasonable and no complaints about their service.

Chia!! These are gorgeous!! Would you consider teaching a class?? I am so into using fabric and sewing in my work these days and these are beautiful!! Plus — what a great gift idea for friends and family. Give it some thought! I would love to learn more about this!!
