This is yet another technique from Artist Trading Card Workshop by Bernie Berlin. For this technique you use a Krylon leafing pen as a resist and add color with watercolor. I don’t have many liquid watercolors and didn’t want to fuss with a lot of mixing so I used some of my dye reinkers for the color. One of the tips I picked up from watching Bernie at CHA was to use LOTS of water to help the colors flow. I didn’t really catch on to that when I first started this book. I was afraid too much water would make a mess of the paper. My colors just weren’t flowing very well. When I saw Bernie she was spraying on enough water to fill a small wading pool and the colors were taking on a life of their own. In this case, more is more.

Gorgeous! I think I’ll try this with my Twinkling H2O’s.
