Inky Layers

I made these cards using a technique called “Inky Layers” from  Artist Trading Card Workshop by Bernie Berlin. I’m finding that my samples never look very much like Bernie’s. That doesn’t really bother me because I’m having a blast making them and I am actually quite happy with the way mine turn out.

For this technique you glue down layers of assorted papers and then build color layers with an assortment of ink pads, glazes, and Luna Lights. I don’t have any Luna Lights so I just used some more glazes.

I loved playing with this technique and I am very happy that it is well suited to using up a lot of the scrap paper I’ve been holding on to.
