I won’t be posting for a few days. Yesterday I bent down to pet Abbey and things didn’t go so well. I stood up, then quickly bent over in pain. I hurt something in my back. I was only a few feet from my bedroom but it took over an hour to get there and into bed. Thank goodness Recliner Man was home to help me.
I’m stuck in bed now with the laptop. I’m a bit better today than yesterday so I’m sure I’ll be up and about in a few more days. Till then I’ll try to fight boredom by surfing the web for cool sites to share with you. When The Boy gets home I’ll ask him to bring me all my new ATC blanks and maybe I’ll count them…. staying in bed all day is really, really boring!
If you have a few healthy vibes to share you can direct them towards Arizona. I could use them and so could my dear friend who is stuck in a hospital this week.
At least Abbey is making up for her part in the disaster by sticking by my side while I recuperate. And I am so sure it has nothing to do with the fact that she normally spends her days sleeping on my bed. Yeah, I’m totally sure.
I'm Chia Wald and this is my blog. Here is where I share my thoughts and my art. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn't. That's life... and that's me.
Stumble it!

Lots of “Feel Better” wishes coming your way…back pain is right at the top of the list with headache pain. Ouch.
Take care…use ice first and then heat…

Thanks for the well wishes. Bit by bit it is getting better. I’m moving around better and can actually walk out to the family room and watch some tv. Considering how bad it started out I’m very impressed with my progress! I’m being real careful though.. don’t want to over do and take a step backwards. Abbey is glad I can leave the bedroom now. She was getting just as bored as I was.

I’m glad to hear you’ve made emough improvement to get out of bed for awhile, Chia. Sometimes the boredom is almost as bad as the pain. Before anyone throws rotten tomatoes at me for saying that, I speak from experience.

Thanks Shelly. You are right about the boredom. I actually did start counting the ATC blanks! I haven’t finished that but I plan to… I have a plan….

I’m doing pretty good now. I’ve been taking things slow and easy and unfortunately I let that plan spill over into my blogging also. I promise to start posting again tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there and waiting for me
