I can’t believe how fast this month has flown by!  I’ve made it worse by being such a lazy blogger and leaving you to wait so long for updates. You are still out there waiting, right?  Hello? Is anybody there?  Oh well, I’m probably crazy enough to just sit here and talk to myself if you aren’t there.

I spent all day on Saturday “Yard Sailing”, and I do mean ALL day! I went with my friend Billie and her mother. I’ve always called Billie the Energizer Bunny because she can shop and shop all day without getting worn out. I’m going to have to call her Energizer Junior from now on because her mom was right there at the head of the pack and ready to go for more! Arlynn jumped in the van and joined us for a little while too.

I found a few really good finds. I picked up a pretty nice vacuum for $10 that I plan to clean up and give to my son and a really nice old printer’s tray that is already hanging on my wall and slowly filling up with mementos. I’ve wanted one of them for a very long time. There were tons of other goodies to be bought and we did a very good job filling the back of of the van. What on earth was I thinking – I should have taken a picture of that to share with you. Oh well, next year I will. This sale was an annual even held by a large community in Mesa.

Tomorrow Recliner Man and I are starting our day at the Intel Health Insurance Fair. I don’t know if that is what they are really calling it because I can’t read my notes, we are going to figure out what we are going to do about insurance now that they dropped the plan we were using. I really hope that we can find one that will let us keep our favorite doctors with similar coverage. All the years that Recliner Man was in the military we never got to pick a doctor and rarely saw the same one twice.  It has been quite a treat to find a doctor that I like and be able to stick with her.

After the insurance thing we are headed to the Arizona State Fair. Every year we plan to go and then something comes up to spoil our plan. We’ve been here eleven years and this will be our first time going. Recliner Man is already drooling at the thought of fresh fried dough! Come to think of it, I’m starting to drool a little too.
