Now that Halloween has come and gone it is time to start making plans for Thanksgiving. Recliner Man will be working on Turkey Day but we won’t let that stop us from enjoying the traditional feast. We will just pig out late in the evening and spend the rest of the night wondering why we are too uncomfortable to sleep.

Thanksgiving is a bigger milestone for me this year than in last year because it is also the time I need to have most of my Christmas preparations done and be ready for travel. We will be leaving just after the Thanksgiving weekend and flying up to Illinois to visit our daughter and her husband. We are planning to spend two weeks up there so we won’t have much time left for shopping and mailing once we get back. I haven’t even figured out what I’m making for my Christmas Cards yet. Rush, rush, rush…
