We had a good travel day from Phoenix to Peoria. That is, it was good until we stepped off the plane in Peoria and got a good blast of their arctic weather. Brrrr!

After a quick overnight stay with our kids in Peoria we hit the road and headed further north to Wisconsin. Brrrr!

We got to Wisconsin just in time for a snow storm. At this point I was really wishing I’d tried harder to find my old winter hat before we left Phoenix. Brrrr!

This is just a neat old Santa that was hanging in Aunt Betty’s kitchen. It was a Christmas Hand out from Sears in 1948.

While at Aunt Betty’s house we had a little time for stamping. I tried to show Aunt Betty and Aunt Peggy how to Bleach Stamp but our bleach was too old. We switched to plan B and made Never Ending cards.

This is Aunt Peggy hard at work.

And this is Aunt Betty, our hostess with the mostest.
We are having a wonderful time visiting with family. We just wish it wasn’t so darn cold. We are back down in Peoria now and just a few degrees warmer. We did a little shopping yesterday and I picked up a sweater and a new winter hat, so I think I’ll survive.
It will be good to make it back to sunny Arizona though.
I’m still trying to remember the password to one of my email accounts so if you are waiting to hear from me you may have to wait a little longer.
I'm Chia Wald and this is my blog. Here is where I share my thoughts and my art. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn't. That's life... and that's me.
Stumble it!

Snow is so pretty from a distance! You look fantastic, this is the first I’ve seen you since your surgery this summer…and it looks like you had great fun in Wisconsin!
