My sister mentioned “Project 52″ in a blog post and it was the first time I had heard that expression. She said it was an offshoot of Project 365, another term I hadn’t heard before. Basically these are plans to chronicle your daily life through photos. Like my sister, I feel that Project 365 is a bit ambitious for me so I will be going with Project 52. My goal will be to post a photo each weekend showing a highlight from the previous week. Since I am getting a late start I’ll post something today to cover last week.

This is my son-in-law. I use to be his favorite mother-in-law but once he sees that I have posted this photo my status may be changing.

The highlight of this past week was an overnight visit from s-i-l. He was in the valley to attend a wedding and while he spent most of his time at his parents home, he came down on Sunday evening to stay over and get a ride to the airport the next day. I was so happy to have him here that I went a bit overboard in the spoiling department. I let him pick what he would like for dinner, pot roast, and then added some of his favorites like angel food cake and some yummy peanut butter / chocolate cookies.  Abbey made sure to let him know we were happy to see him by sharing her bed in the guestroom with him.

While he was here, Recliner Man put him to work helping set up the fancy new remote control that our daughter and s-i-l gave to him for Christmas. S-I-L was concentrating on that task when I showed up with my camera. The poor unsuspecting dear. Little did he know that I would capture his attempt to tease me and post it on the blog for all of you to see.
