We had the best of times yesterday. Billie and Chris came over to play and we made mini houses. I made up a template and cut the pieces out of foamcore for everyone to get started with. From that point on it was every crafter for themselves.

This is my mini house. We made them with translucent windows so we could put a battery powered tea light in them and enjoy the glow.  I have something of a reputation for being a speed demon. I wouldn’t want to put my title at risk so I got down to business and was the only one to finish a house yesterday.

This is Billie’s house. It is a work in progress because she isn’t a speed demon.

Hey! What’s the big idea, Billie? Are you trying to take my title from me? I could swear that just a second ago there was no medallion above the door.

This house belongs to Chris. She is a true blue friend and wouldn’t even consider trying to take my speedy title away from me. She wouldn’t even put the door on until after she went home. You’re my girl, Chris! (Even if you are trying to show us up by installing sky lights in your house!) Billie and I think that Chris needs  to make 3 Little pigs and a big, bad wolf to go with this house.

We decided to make more houses when we meet next week. I’ll tell the girls to bring this week’s houses with them and get a  shot of the entire village to show you.
