Yesterday was The Boy’s birthday. You know what birthdays mean around here, don’t you? Yep, lots of old photos!

Have I mentioned that he was born on an Easter Sunday?

Oh, this is a good one. This is from his wrestling days in Junior High. He did pretty well.
He was as strong as a bull.
OK, back to this year’s birthday. I was going to make him a Harvey Wallbanger cake but after I started mixing it, I discovered that I was out of Galliano so we settled for a Screwdriver cake. It was still good. You’ll never guess what we gave him for his birthday gift….

A beard trimmer! I swear it was his idea. He decided the time had come and I was more than happy to help out. This smiling face is what showed up at my house for Easter dinner today.
Happy Birthday, boy. I always love you.
I'm Chia Wald and this is my blog. Here is where I share my thoughts and my art. Sometimes it is good, sometimes it isn't. That's life... and that's me.
Stumble it!

The beard trim looks good! You look more like your age and less like a grizzled old man.

So the great beard experiment has come to an end. I was wondering how it would survive the Arizona heat. LOL. I can really see the resemblence to Recliner Man now.

Wow…. love that beard… and I still think I’m seeing alot of Gramps, but also his Dad. I enjoyed the pictures, and remember the Mr. Moon with dangley feet… He was such a precious baby, and now you’ve really got a handsome guy coming to dinner…. Love to you all!
