AUDREY'S CHALLENGE

Each week my stamping group has a challenge. One member will give us an item or an image and we have to go home and create with it. Our dear friend, Audrey, gave us the following challenge.

As soon as I saw the little box I knew I was going to fill it with a little book.

That night I went to sleep and my muse came to me in a dream. She told me this was not a simple little box. It was something special and needed something special built around it. At first I thought it was a shrine that she was showing me. Then I realized it was a church... the Church of Happiness. And I knew it was meant to be a gift for Audrey.

I saw the doors swing open to reveal the golden box nestled within the church's walls.

And then the muse told me, "Every church need a spiritual leader." It was then I saw Pastor Barbo dressed in his fine red stole.

But the muse was not done with me just yet. She said, "You know, the Pope has a Pope-Mobile..."

So I set to work and created the treasures for my friend, Audrey. The book I filled with images of the fun times we've shared and photos of our group. I added a special scroll to the church so when she is sad, Audrey can gaze upon her favorite word and be filled with glee. When I was done I decided the treasures needed a case to hold them safe.

Audrey, this was made with love, to thank you for entering my life. You have brought me much happiness and creativity. I will always treasure you.
